Chris Craft Runabouts

After many years of cruising Lake Tahoe and the Delta, these classic Chris-Craft runabouts were in need of a fresh round of varnish. Each surface was thoroughly cleaned, masked, and hand-sanded to remove sun damage and water spotting before finish was applied. In preparation for sale, Fat Chance received four coats of Epifanes Gloss varnish on her decks and transom, rebuilding depth, gloss, and long-term protection. Mona Lee was similarly prepped and finished with four coats on her hull, transom, and decks to enhance gloss and highlight the natural beauty of the wood. Following completion, she was shipped across the country to compete in the Antique and Classic Boat Society’s Vintage Boat Week, where she earned top honors in her class as a Platinum Award winner.
